MLAB 421C Students receive instruction to prepare them for clinical practice in Medical Laboratory Science. Instruction in laboratory operations and quality control, regulatory agencies and requirements, stages of clinical testing, and professionalism is included. Students focus on theory, application, and interpretation of normal and abnormal body processes to determine diagnoses, applicable testing methodologies, and treatment options. REAL Area L
MLAB 431C Students receive instruction to prepare them for clinical practice in Medical Laboratory Science. Physiological biochemistry, normal and abnormal physiology, and interpretation of results using accepted methodologies are covered. Principles of clinical laboratory management and educational methods related to laboratory professionals are discussed. REAL Area L
MLAB 401 . The first of two clinical rotation blocks required of Medical Laboratory Science students. Students spend time in the clinical laboratory training with certified laboratory scientists.
