Prerequisite
UAS 107 or permission of instructor Introduction to the use of UAS (drones) for collecting, processing, and analyzing aerial imagery as well as data from other sensor types. Students taking this course will learn about the different types of spatial data that can be collected by unmanned aerial vehicles (or UAVs) and how to apply them to various personal and professional projects. Prerequisite
UAS 408 or UAS 409 ; or permission of instructor. Provides students with the knowledge and experience to complete a research project utilizing Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) that is targeted research toward their field of study. Students will also gain experience in verbal and written communication of their research methods and results through presentations and reports.
