var-1-3sh Special topics are offered on an experimental or temporary basis to explore topics that are not included in the established curriculum. A given topic may be offered under any special topic identity no more than three times. Special topics numbered 281 are offered primarily for lower-level undergraduate students.
3c-0l-3sh A seminar to introduce the art education major to the principles and practices of teaching visual arts K through 12. Field experiences, pre-student teaching activities, introduction to literature, and history and philosophies of art education emphasized. (Prerequisite to student teaching) Fall only.
AE 317Art Education Methodology at the Elementary Level
1c-3l-3sh Examines children's artistic development, art programs, planning, motivation, and evaluation. Weekly teaching experience is an integral part of the course. (Prerequisite to student teaching) Fall only.
