SCI 105 OR PHYS 151 Restriction: none Description: Evaluates and analyze data collected from simple physical systems such as pullies, ramps, magnets, batteries and bulbs, and pendulum. Reinforces concepts illustrated in SCI 105 Physical Science and PHYS 151 Physics for Life Sciences.
Must be taken after or concurrent with GNSC 107 Description: A basic laboratory course in chemistry for the non-science major. Laboratory exercises are for the students to develop an understanding and appreciation of the process of science and of the significance of chemistry in everyday life. These laboratory exercises will demonstrate basic chemical principles and will include consumer topics, such as acids and bases, nuclear chemistry, water hardness, and food additives.
