Introduces construction of lesson plans within the career and technical classroom and shop setting to differentiate for the diverse needs of English Language Learners, including those with IEPs. Identifies effective instructional strategies to bridge gaps for English Language Learners to enable students to be 21st century career and college ready.
None Restriction: None Description: Personalized, self-paced vocational teacher preparation. Develops, demonstrates, and documents competence in selected teaching skills in the areas of program planning, program development, program evaluation, and managing and evaluating instruction in a vocational school setting. Self-evaluation is encouraged in the program, utilizing videotaping and the feedback from a team of professional teacher educators.
