CYBR 440 Cyber Crime and Digital Investigation (3) This capstone course builds on all forensic tools and concepts covered in the Cyber and Digital Forensics program. In this course the student will examine and utilize investigative techniques to address cybercrimes associated with computing environments to include the Internet. Prerequisites: CRJU 280, CRJU 335, CYBR 430, and ISYS 222. CYBR 475 Special Topics in Cybersecurity (1-3) Intensive examination of a selected area of study in the field of cybersecurity. Pass/No Pass. Prerequisite: Instructor approval. CYBR 495 Internship (1-3) Practical opportunity to utilize the skills, competencies, and knowledge gained from course material to apply in professional environments. Certificate of Graduate Studies (CGS) in Cyber Practitioner Preparation (9 credit hours) CGS in Cyber Practitioner Preparation is the bootcamp program offered by the Institute of Cybersecurity to equip students with the knowledge and application to support their industry certification preparation. Students who complete the certificate program and who desire to continue their studies may apply the credits to the M.S. if accepted to the program. An additional 21 credit hours of coursework is required to complete the master’s degree. The maximum time permitted to complete the CGS is five years.
